Induction Preheating

Induction preheating and post heating are used in vary industries, cable and wire, pipe welding, before bars and pipes bending, components assembly etc.

Preheating of the welding zone minimizes the temperature difference between the welding arc and the base material. Preheating also slows the weld cooling rate and lowers hydrogen which helps reduce the risk of cracking and failed welds.

Induction heating is being used to preheat a drill bit to a certain temperature to enable brazing of the cutter inserts into the bit. HCGP induction heating system is used for this application.
